We are so happy Brynlee has been with us for 2 months now, time is flying by!

It was a lot harder to get pictures of Brynlee this time. She has so much energy... she loves to kick her legs and move her arms any time she can.

She weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces and was 18 inches long.

The past 10 days have been the best of my life! Gar and I love having Brynlee in our home.

It's not usual for school to get cancelled for snow in Utah... but today it did!
Gar has worked hard to try and keep the sidewalk & driveway cleared the last 2 days.

We are SO THANKFUL for kind neighbors who shared their snow blower with us!

The dogs love playing in the snow!

The snow plow NEVER comes down our cul-de-sac, Gar saw one going down another road so he ran over and asked if they would please plow the cul-de-sac. The plow ended up getting stuck and Gar had to help shovel him out. We were happy that they finally cleared our road though!

I have to admit I cried when I heard school was cancelled this morning! We had so many fun Christmas activities we were doing today. I am lucky to have a job that I love!

Here are some pictures from our ultrasound. We got my parents to come with us. It was an unforgettable experience for Garrett and I. We both already had a feeling it was a girl, but we were very excited when the nurse confirmed our feelings. We were also absolutely tickled to see that our little girl was healthy and developing at a great pace. It was amazing to see every part of her and we already think she is adorable. :)

Healthy Baby!

After many weeks and days of counting down and waiting for November 4th to arrive.... it finally came. My mom, Gar and I went to the doctor office excited to find out if our baby was developing healthy and to find out its gender. Much to our disappointment when we got there we learned that the secretary had scheduled the appointment wrong and made it at the wrong office. The office where we went did not have the right equipment to see the baby's gender. The doctor was really nice and saw how excited we were so he still did an ultrasond so we could see the baby and possibly see the gender. We got to see the face on the baby, hands, fingers, toes, heart, spine, stomach, we even saw it suck its thumb. Unfortunately the baby was breech and kept its legs together. So the doctor tried hard.... but we will now wait until Tuesday to see our baby again and find out if its a boy or girl using better ultrasound equipment. Although we felt a little let down today it was so NICE and made us so HAPPY to see that our baby looks healthy!

If you see Garrett be sure to congratulate him!!! After 4 1/2 long months he finally gets to wear a matching pair of shoes!
Also, in less than 24 hours we will be able to see our baby and find out if it is a boy or girl! We can't wait! It feels like Christmas Eve today..... but even better!!! :) My class has been learning about graphs so here is our pictograph we did today. The kids are so cute, they are excited for us and keep asking me when I find out what it is.

Yup... We've got a bun in the Oven!!!!!

We found out our exciting news on the 24th of July. Heard the heart beat for the first time at 6 weeks 5 days. The doctor said it sounded healthy and strong. Due to me being sick and I was going on a vacation with my family, we shared the news with them on Aug 6th. Garrett wore a shirt that said "Look What's Cooking" and I wore a shirt with a picture of a bun in the oven and we took everyone some blue and pink cupcakes.

I am now 15 weeks and we are thrilled to be sharing our excitement with everyone!

No More Basketball For Awhile

Garrett plays basktball 3 days a week at 6 a.m. at the church. Yesterday morning just wasn't his day. He accidently stepped on someones foot and it ended up breaking his left foot on the left side right under his little toe. Summertime is not the best time to break a bone.

But having a broken bone won't get Gar down... we still got him to go to Salem pond with us. The kids tried to get some fish to swim in their net by using bread. Makayla was very determined, but didn't catch a fish. The day started off rough, but ended great. We had a lot of fun at the pond.

We have been looking at homes for a couple of months and to our surprise found one we loved. We will be in it quicker than we were planning but we are so excited and think it is perfect. I will try to post pictures later! :)

Christmas & New Years

Christmas was a blast! DAbby was super excited when she woke up, she must've smelled that giant bone. She ran right up the couch and started chewing on it. After we saw Santa had come, and Marc's kids finally woke up, we got to spend the morning with their family and watch them open up presents. They got some great things. Then Gar and I got to see what Santa brought us... and I must say we are very spoiled and so is DAbby.

My parent's house was extra fun this year because my dad recently just got back from China, so we got all sorts of fun chinese things: candy, purses, scarfs, hats, wallets, and more. I think all of the hats were the highlight. DAbby even got a cute coat from grandpa and grandma. :) We were very spoiled by them as always. Although all of the presents were amazing... the best part was just spending time with the family. It truely is the best time of the year and I already can't wait for next year!

So far our first Christmas married has been a BLAST, and it's not even Christmas yet. We had a great time cooking treats together for friends and family, we got cute new stockings, and I just had to add a picture of my cute class. The students are so cute and fun to be around everyday. I feel so lucky to have the job I do... I love it!!! I come home everyday and can't wait to tell Garrett about my day with the kids and funny things that happened. Both Garrett and I enjoy our jobs and feel very blessed!

Our Belated Honeymoon

We got to take a cruise over Thanksgiving break to Mexico. It was mine and Garrett's first time cruising. We had a great time; we saw whales, dolphins, flyng fish, pretty beaches, ugly spiders, lizards, we met great people, ate some yummy food and we were treated like royalty. Ya... I think we would do it again. Our cruise had 3 stops Purto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas (I probably spelled those wrong).
